Myself, my husband, Jim, and my daughter, Brianne moved here in 2004 from Colorado. I work at Coca-Cola and in my free time I love to watch sports and coach volleyball!! I was raised to be passionate about the endeavors I take on, and I hope that is something I am able to pass on to the young people of Flagstaff!
Nick Bowling - Coach
I’m 29 years old and was born and raised here in Flagstaff. My experience as a coach started with soccer. I was an assistant for the varsity soccer team at Coconino High School for the 2004 and 2005 seasons. After I decided that coaching an outdoor sport in the middle of winter in Flagstaff wasn’t for me, I began coaching volleyball as an assistant for the varsity team at Sinagua. In the 2005 season I was fortunate enough to be a part of the state runner up team there and have been there ever since. This will be my third season as a club volleyball coach. I was the head coach for the 18’s team during the 2005 - 2006 season and I was the assistant for the 12’s team during the 2006 - 2007 season. My playing experience may not have a long history, but is very extensive and has been an incredible experience. I started playing volleyball in 2000 at the Flagstaff Athletic Club in the Rec League. I went from playing indoor 6’s, to sand doubles the following summer. The year 2006 was a big year for me as I was fortunate enough to be picked up by a men’s club team from Phoenix. We won the region and went on to finish fourth in the nation at the National Tournament in New Orleans. Shortly following the indoor season, my partner and I played in our first professional sand doubles volleyball tournament in Phoenix where we finished in 8th place.
I have very much enjoyed coaching the young ladies in Flagstaff over the last few seasons and am looking forward to many to come. I coach for Flagstaff Juniors, because I feel that the opportunity that it gives young ladies to learn the game of volleyball as well as the life lessons of how to work as a team and how to make a difference as an individual in a team setting are priceless.

Jessica Woods - Coach
Hi my name is Jessica Woods and I am 25 years old. I am from Cottonwood Arizona and went to Mingus High School. I played volleyball, basketball, and softball in high school. I was a setter for the varsity volleyball team all four years. I went on to play basketball at a community college in Phoenix. I finished my college education at NAU and graduated with a bachelors of science with my major being exercise science and my minor being chemistry. I now work at the Summit Center for DeRosa Physical therapy and am a physical therapy technician, I am applying to physician assistant school, and in my spare time coach and play volleyball. I was an assistant coach on the varsity team at Coconino high school for the 2006 season, then I coached the 12’s club team for flagstaff juniors immediately following that, and this past season coached the J.V. team for Sinagua high school and helped with the varsity team. I really enjoy watching, coaching, and playing the game of volleyball. I enjoy watching girls work hard, have fun, and learn. If you want to have some fun and learn the game of volleyball come tryout out for flagstaff juniors, get involved.
Danielle Cox
I am 19 years old and have lived in Flagstaff my entire life. I've been playing volleyball for what seems like forever. My Mom was a coach for my older sister and I was the ball girl and gym rat.
I played school volleyball for 7 years, in elementary, middle school and high school. I played club volleyball for 8 years. During that time we qualified for Junior Olympics twice and traveled to many national qualifiers across the country.
I graduated from Flagstaff High School in 2006, where I played volleyball all four years. I played one season on JV and three seasons on Varsity.
I began coaching in the 2006 season at Sinagua High School, where I helped the varsity team. I continued coaching at Sinagua HS for the 2007 season, and was the Freshman Assistant. I started coaching club in the 2006 - 2007 season as the 12's Assistant Coach, and am looking forward to the 2007 - 2008 season.
Currently I play volleyball wherever and whenever I can - I just can't get enough! I attend school at Coconino Community College and work at The Basement Marketplace.
Volleyball is my biggest passion. I love coaching and spreading all that I've learned from my coaches down to new players.
